Frequently Asked Questions
Basic deletion may leave recoverable data. ZTRX Secure uses an agreed sanitisation or destruction pathway appropriate to the device/media and service scope.
It's recorded as an exception and, with your authorisation, physically destroyed. You'll receive a Certificate of Device Destruction for it.
Collection can be arranged subject to location, service availability and job scope.
Supported media can include hard drives, SSDs, USB media, phones and tablets. The final method depends on device type, condition and security requirements.
Applicable sanitisation or destruction evidence can be provided according to the service performed and the records available.
Where suitable and authorised, assets may follow a sanitisation and redeployment pathway instead of physical destruction.
Where available and appropriate, records may include serial numbers, asset tags, IMEI identifiers, quantities, photos, seal/container references and processing outcomes.
Tell us before collection. Locked or managed devices may require additional handling or a different processing pathway.
ZTRX Secure does not claim government or independent certification unless expressly stated and supported by current evidence. Partner documentation may be provided where applicable.
Submit a collection/quote request or contact ZTRX Secure with the asset types, quantities, location and required outcome.
Depending on what you choose, we return it, prepare it for redeployment, or dispose of it for you. When we dispose of it, we keep a record of every asset.
